If you've never geocached before it's a fun scavenger hunt and quite simple. We supply you with the coordinates and map and you have to find the geocaches we put there. Once you find the cache, open it up and follow the directions.

RULES 1. Once you've found the Geocache you may take one item from the cache. 2. You must leave a hand crafted lapidary art item in place of the one you took. It may be a painted rock, cut slab, handcrafted jewelry, faceted gem, etc. (YOU CAN'T JUST PUT A ROCK IN, IT MUST BE HANDCRAFTED). 3. Write the date and your name in the booklet provided inside the cache. 4. Make sure you close the cache box and that it remains in the same exact spot you found it for the next person. That's it! Like I said it's simple and we have placed three rock geocaches for you to find. So have FUN with the geocaches our Kid's Club created with the help of Del Walkenshaw. Please remember to wear proper clothing and footwear, bring water and snacks when you're hiking, and leave no trace. Whatever you take in needs to be taken out to help keep our Ore Car MIne clean. NEVER HIKE ALONE.
